Funeral Coordination

Help coordinate funeral arrangements at funeral care provider of choice (Independently with Laurel or in conjunction with preferred funeral care provider and clergy)
Provide education and guidance on service type options
Complete the required information necessary to obtain copies of a death certificate
Aid and support in coordination with preferred funeral care provider
Prepare and submit death notice and/or obituary
Guidance in coordinating the details for the service including, but not limited to: music, attire, flowers, readings, eulogies, clergy, cemetery, caskets, urns, outer burial containers, memorial folders, prayer cards, caterer, video/photo tribute, coordination of transportation, etc.
Notify and communicate with designated friends and family of the decedent (via phone or email) prior to public announcement of obituary when requested

Guidance and planning of non-traditional or non-religious end of life celebrations

Aid to families in coordination with funeral care provider regarding taks and preparation leading up to funeral or memorial service
